What We Offer

Pre-sale Car Preparation in Tartu

The first impression can decide whether a buyer gets in touch

When selling a car, it is not always enough that the vehicle is technically sound. Buyers form their first opinion from the listing photos, the gloss of the paint, the cleanliness of the interior and the overall care of the car.

A dusty interior, dirty door jambs, dull paint, stained seats and poorly taken photos can make the car look neglected even when it has actually been well maintained.

The goal of Xpert Car Care pre-sale preparation is to bring out the best possible look of the car, make it presentable for the listing, and reduce the visible reasons a buyer could use to bargain down the price.

We come with water, power, professional cleaning products and the needed equipment to your chosen address in Tartu or nearby.

Why prepare a car professionally before selling?

A properly prepared car:

  • Looks better in the listing photos
  • Leaves a cared-for, more trustworthy first impression
  • Stands out among similar listings
  • Helps the buyer focus on the strengths of the car
  • Can reduce appearance-based price haggling
  • Makes test drives and showings more pleasant
  • Saves the seller time

Pre-sale preparation does not change the age, mileage or technical condition of the car. It does help present the vehicle as clean, correct and as valuable as possible.

What does pre-sale preparation include?

The exact scope depends on the chosen package and the condition of the car. The service can include:

  • A thorough exterior wash
  • Cleaning wheels, tires and wheel arches
  • Cleaning door jambs and exterior details
  • Tar and metal particle removal
  • Gloss enhancement or polishing of the paint
  • Protecting the paint with wax or sealant
  • Vacuuming the interior
  • Cleaning the seats, floors and trunk
  • Cleaning and care of plastic and leather surfaces
  • Spot stain removal or interior wet cleaning
  • Cleaning the interior glass
  • Engine bay detail cleaning
  • Finishing tires and exterior plastics
  • Taking quality sale photos
  • Writing the sale listing text

Before starting we agree which services add the most value for the specific car. Not every car for sale needs multi-stage polishing or a full chemical interior clean.

How does it work?

01
You send us the car info and photos

For an offer we need the make, model, year, location and photos of the exterior, seats, floors and trunk. Also describe known stains, scratches, pet hair, odors or other problem spots.

02
We put together the right solution

We recommend a package based on the price class, condition and sales goal. For a cheaper daily car a proper interior and exterior clean may be enough. For a more valuable or heavily used car, an interior deep clean and paint gloss enhancement often add the most.

03
We come to the car

We bring water, a power solution, products and equipment. We need enough space around the car and weather and parking conditions suitable for the work. Polishing and certain protection treatments are done only in conditions that allow a quality result.

04
We prepare the car for sale

We clean the car according to the chosen package and pay extra attention to the spots buyers notice: the driver seat and steering wheel, the pedal area, sills and door jambs, the center console and cup holders, the trunk, wheels and tires, headlight clarity, paint gloss and glass cleanliness.

05
We do a final inspection

We check the car outside and inside and remove the last cleaning and polishing residues. On request we take the sale photos and help write a clear, trustworthy listing text.

Pre-sale preparation packages

Sale-ready Standard (passenger car 149 €, large car 179 €) suits a car in good condition that needs a proper refresh before photos and showings: a safe exterior wash, wheel and tire cleaning, door jambs, drying, interior vacuuming, surfaces and center console, glass, floor mats, tire dressing and 12-20 sale photos.

Sale-ready Premium (passenger car 279 €, large car 329 €) suits a car that needs a deeper clean, stronger exterior finishing and a presentable sales impression: thorough exterior wash, tar and metal particle removal, detailed wheel and arch cleaning, deep door jamb cleaning, paint protection, thorough interior dry clean, steam detail cleaning, light stain spot treatment, plastic and leather care, engine bay detail clean, 15-25 sale photos and a listing text draft.

Sale-ready Signature (passenger car from 479 €, large car from 549 €) is the complete solution for a car whose paint and interior need visible restoration before sale: paint decontamination, one-stage polishing, protection treatment, chemical interior deep clean, wet cleaning of seats and floor, leather care, engine bay cleaning, finishing, 15-30 edited sale photos and the listing text.

The final price depends on the paint condition, interior soiling and the desired result.

Sale photos and the listing

A good sale photo has to show the car as clearly and honestly as possible. On request we do:

  • At least six exterior photos
  • At least six interior photos
  • Photos of the wheels, trunk and important extra equipment
  • Consistent angles and framing
  • License plate blurring
  • A selection of the best photos for the listing
  • The sale listing text

The goal of the photos is not to hide flaws, but to show a clean, cared-for car clearly and credibly.

Is pre-sale preparation worth the price?

The cost of pre-sale preparation is usually small compared to the sale price of the car. You are not paying just for washing. The price includes:

  • Bringing a complete mobile workstation to the car
  • Water and a power solution
  • Professional cleaning and care products
  • Several types of equipment
  • Hours of hand work
  • Separate treatment of stains and problem areas
  • Paint finishing
  • Bringing the car into a sale-ready state
  • Photos and the listing on request

We cannot guarantee a specific sale price or timeframe. We can help make sure the look of the car is not the reason a good offer passes it by.

When is a package with polishing worth it?

Polishing makes sense when:

  • The paint is dull
  • The car has regularly been through brush washes
  • Many wash marks show in the sun
  • The color lacks depth and a clear reflection
  • The car is a dark color
  • The price class of the vehicle justifies a deeper preparation

Polishing does not remove stone chips, rust, peeling clear coat or scratches through the paint.

Frequently asked questions

How long does pre-sale preparation take?

The Standard package usually takes several hours. Premium and Signature can take a full working day or longer depending on the condition of the car.

Are all stains removed?

Complete removal of every stain cannot be guaranteed in advance. The result depends on the origin, age, material and past cleaning attempts.

Do you remove all scratches?

No. One-stage polishing mainly reduces light and medium wash marks and restores gloss. Deep damage can need multi-stage polishing, spot repair or repainting.

Can the sale photos be taken at my home?

Yes, if the location and light allow a clean result. If needed, we agree on a better photo spot nearby.

Do you also prepare company and dealer vehicles?

Yes. For several cars or regular cooperation we prepare a separate offer.
