This policy describes what personal data we collect on xpertcar.ee, why we use it, who we share it with, and what your rights are.

2. What data we collect

  • Booking data: first and last name, email, phone, service address, vehicle registration number, chosen service and additional notes.
  • Contact form data: name, email, phone and the message content.
  • Technical data: cookie preferences and, with your consent, marketing cookie data (Meta Pixel).

3. Why we use the data

  • To fulfil bookings: providing the service at your address, sending confirmation and reminder emails, contacting you when needed (performance of a contract).
  • To answer inquiries (legitimate interest).
  • For marketing statistics and ad measurement via Meta Pixel, only with your consent (consent).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. The following providers process data on our behalf or independently:

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Meta Pixel) - marketing statistics, only after cookie consent. Meta may transfer data outside the EU under its own data processing terms.
  • Zone Media OÜ - website hosting in Estonia.
  • Google (Site Kit / Search Console) - site administration and search statistics; no visitor personal data is passed through it.
  • Burst Statistics - anonymous visit statistics stored on our own server, without tracking cookies.

5. Cookies

  • xc_lang - stores your chosen language (essential, 1 year).
  • xc_consent - stores your cookie choice (essential, 180 days).
  • Meta Pixel (e.g. _fbp) - marketing cookies, set only after consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies in your browser - we will then ask again.

6. How long we keep the data

  • Booking data: up to 7 years (Estonian accounting law obligation).
  • Contact form messages: until the inquiry is resolved plus a reasonable period.
  • Cookie consent: up to 180 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, withdraw consent and object. To do so, write to us at info@xpertcar.ee.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
