Even a well-maintained car loses gloss over time. Automatic washes, wrong products, harsh brushes, winter grime and everyday use leave fine scratches and holograms in the clear coat.
These defects scatter light. That is why the paint can look greyish, dull or covered in a "spiderweb" pattern, especially in the sun or under strong lighting.
The goal of polishing is to correct the top layer of the clear coat in a controlled way, reduce visible defects and restore the gloss, depth and reflection of the color.
Not every car needs the same intensity of work. We choose the process based on the paint condition and your expectations.
For a car whose paint is generally in good shape but needs more gloss and a fresher look. It can reduce light wash marks and improve color clarity.
A balanced solution for a daily driver. The goal is to remove or reduce as many light and medium defects as possible in one polishing stage and leave the surface clear and glossy.
For stronger wash scratches, holograms, oxidation and an uneven surface. First we correct the defects with a stronger combination, then refine the surface to restore the gloss.
It would not be honest to promise an exact defect-removal percentage before seeing the car. The result depends on the depth of the scratches, the state of the clear coat, past repairs and the paint type.
The car must be completely clean before polishing. We remove normal dirt and, if needed, tar, metal particles and other bonded contamination.
We inspect the car under strong light, identify problem areas and choose the right process. We also point out damage polishing cannot fix.
Where needed we mask plastics, rubber, edges and other details that polish should not touch.
We do a small test area to find the combination that gives the desired correction with the mildest possible treatment.
We work panel by panel, check the result and refine the surface according to the chosen package.
After polishing we recommend protecting the paint - either a simpler protectant or longer-lasting ceramic protection.

If a scratch clearly catches your fingernail, it may be too deep to remove completely. Sometimes it is safer to only reduce a scratch than to remove too much clear coat around it.
The final result depends on the preparation, the right pad and polish, machine control, working temperature and constant checking.
A quick once-over can hide defects temporarily or leave holograms behind. Thorough work includes washing, surface preparation, testing, panel-by-panel correction, cleaning the tools and final refinement.
You pay for defects being removed in a controlled way, not just for the car being shiny for one day.
Polishing corrects the top part of the clear coat, which is why it must be done in a controlled way. We do not chase maximum scratch removal where it would needlessly weaken the paint.
Even a new car can need light refinement if transport, storage or earlier washing has left marks. Before ceramic protection, a light polish can improve the clarity and evenness of the surface.
A defect removed by polishing does not come back by itself. New wash marks can appear with the wrong care. Proper hand washing and good protection help preserve the result.
